Svix is the enterprise ready webhooks sending service. With Svix, you can build a secure, reliable, and scalable webhook platform in minutes. Looking to send webhooks? Give it a try!
December is here, and we're excited to share another round of updates from the Svix team. Here are the product highlights for December.
Public event catalog improvements
Our public event catalog has received a major upgrade this month. The new design looks much better, more functionality, and shares more code with the app portal one, making it much easier for us to maintain.

Authentication with custom connectors
Custom connectors now support asking for authentication types when they are used. Putting them in-line with pre-built connectors which already had it.
This change lets you set the type of authentication a connector can accept when you create it (e.g. Basic Auth, or Auth token), and your customers would then be prompted to enter the authentication information when using the connector.

New OpenTelemetry connector type
We now support OpenTelemetry Collectors as a Connector type. This means that you can now easily transform your webhooks into something that can be consumed by any OpenTelemetry compatible provider such as Datadog, Coralogix, Grafana, etc.

Audit log enhancements
We've made some improvements to the audit log functionality this month. We better present events in the audit log when they happen within an app portal session, and we also allow for better filtering in the log history.

Approved Okta integration
Svix is now available in the Okta Integration Network! Svix has always supported SSO with Okta, but it's now a verified integration on OIN and it also makes the integration much nicer.
You can find our app at www.okta.com/integrations/svix.

TLS 1.3 support
We've added TLS 1.3 support to our API endpoints. TLS 1.3 offers improved security and performance compared to earlier versions, with faster handshakes and stronger encryption standards.
Closing words
As always, please let us know if you have any feedback on the product, or anything else we can add or build to make your lives easier. A lot of the Svix product came from customer feedback, and we are sure ${next_big_thing} will come from feedback as well. No feedback is too small!
