Svix is the enterprise ready webhooks sending service. With Svix, you can build a secure, reliable, and scalable webhook platform in minutes. Looking to send webhooks? Give it a try!
Don't let the cover image mislead you, the Svix team has been hard at work building features and working on the product!
Here are the product updates for June.
Overhauled the dashboard settings page
We overhauled the settings page on the dashboard to make it much easier to find and manage the settings on your environment.
SSO and SCIM improvements
We have made a variety of improvements to how SSO and SCIM works, making the management of Svix accounts and the setup of SSO and SCIM much easier.
Additionally, we also added support to set per-environment access level directly from your IdP using SCIM. Before this change, it was only possible to set the user's global role, without support for environment specific overrides.
New organization member role: support agent
We have added a new type of role for organization members. Until now we only supported "Viewer", "Member", and "Admin". We have now also added "Support Agent".
Support Agent is essentially a Viewer with the added ability to be able to preview consumer application portals directly from the dashboard. This makes it possible to give support agents the ability to access a user specific view directly from the Svix dashboard!
For more information, please refer to the managing member access docs.
Terraform fixes and improvements
We have made a few additional releases to our new terraform provider this month. Fixing bugs and making improvements.
Thank you for everyone that made suggestions and feature requests; and to everyone that sent us detailed bug reports.
Closing words
I know I've been teasing these for the last two updates, but this month we've continued working on these two large projects we've been working on. They are not ready just yet, but a lot of our time and attention has been focused on that. I hope to be able to share more soon!
As always, please let us know if you have any feedback on the product, or anything else we can add or build to make your lives easier. A lot of the Svix product came from customer feedback, and we are sure ${next_big_thing}
will come from feedback as well. No feedback is too small!
